This fascination with home decor is a shared interest with my mother. I still remember taking walks with our dog around our neighborhood when the sun would go down and peering into the windows of glowing homes from the sidewalk (I promise its definitely not as creepy as it sounds.) If we're not casually stalking our neighbors, we are watching HSN or browsing every furniture store in the area together looking at the various ways a room can be designed. Needless to say, we're the perfect go-to gals for any interior decorating tips.
Because of this, I thought it would be a fun idea to create a photo blog post about an apartment I stumbled upon that gave me inspiration. Ingrid Nilsen, or missglamorazzi on YouTube, posted an apartment tour video back in 2014 that gave every viewer some serious apartment envy. Now in 2016, as I am getting ready to move into my own apartment soon, I found this video again and I figured I would share it with everyone else and get those creative juices flowing! All the photos are screenshots I captured from Ingrid's apartment tour video linked above. If you're really feeling inspired, hover over the photo to pin it to one of your Pinterest boards!
Ingrid said in the video she found these chairs on craigslist but I actually own one of these chairs and have seen plenty in stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls!
These little yellow bar stools from Target are the cutest way to add a pop of color to the room!
I absolutely love the metallic threading in this custom made couch. It gives it such a unique twist!
Honestly, if you have the money, Jo Malone products are definitely worth the investment. The wide variety of scents alone stand out from other brands of skin care and home products I have sampled.
First Aid Beauty products are currently one of my favorites for this cold, dry weather. I have the same Ultra Repair Cream as pictured here and it is one of the best products I have ever used to repair my skin!
Baublebar is a great place to go to find statement jewelry for all types of occasions. I love these necklaces Ingrid has placed here!
Now doesn't this make you want to start apartment shopping? I know it certainly does for me. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite take aways are from Ingrid's apartment!
